Marike Bekker
Biographical info
Marike Bekker is an experienced television producer and freelance journalist. She specialises in environmental television and in cooking programmes. She currently works in the Krüger National Park, producing TV inserts for the SABC.
Her first book Agter die skerms met 50/50 is based on the experiences of the makers of SABC's environmental programme 50/50.
In 2008 she compiled a cookery book Roer saam met die sterre – a selection of recipes from kykNET's cookery show called Roer!
This year there is once again a Roer! recipe book on the shelves, compiled from the ever-popular cookery programme's recipes for every occasion.
