Trompie 3: Trompie die soet seun | Children's Fiction
Topsy Smith
This is Trompie’s last term in primary school and he is sick and tired of always being in everyone’s bad books. The Boksom Gang’s Big Chief decides that the time has come to do some good deeds – but that it easier said than done! The one well-meant effort after the other turns out badly and Trompie needs to learn to ask forgiveness.
Then he is involved in an accident and lands up in hospital. His parents send him off to Durban to recuperate at his aunt’s and the train trip there is a great adventure. He is so excited about being at the seaside that he gets lost in the big city but eventually he gets to his aunt’s place. When he returns to his hometown he has to reclaim his position as leader of the pack in a fight with a new boy and Trompie learns to extend the hand of friendship to an enemy.
