Trompie 11: Trompie die leier | Children's Fiction
Topsy Smith
The Boksom Gang has great fun with a dead snake that they pull across the street to give people a fright but then the new school years starts.
The principal decides to appoint a grade ten learner as junior prefect and Trompie is elected to the position. However, this responsibility can sometimes be quite a burden. The Big Chief’s men make life difficult for him because they think they can take all kinds of liberties and the senior prefects are all but keen to accept him as one of them.
To top it all, our hero is innocently implicated in a crime and he cannot defend himself. Trompie punches a matric boy but soon realises that this time his fighting skills will not be enough to save his skin. Will he be able to get out of trouble or will he be expelled from school?
