Zack, or rather Zacharia Leonard Thomas, better known as the Cyber Warrior, is not your normal computer nerd, he is a genius. But nobody knows that. His Computer Studies teacher thinks he’s an idiot because he never pays attention in class and fails in all his tests, just because his answers are not what the teacher had in mind. But what the teacher knows about computers, Zack had long forgotten. Not even his mother and classmates know how good he is. And although he gets bullied and jeered at all the time, he has one consolation: his computer – where he can surf the Internet to his heart’s delight, write new algorithms, develop new games and do some innocent hacking, although he knows it is against the law.

Then something unexpected happens. He meets Vin Marko, who came out of his computer screen in a blue flash. Vin introduces himself as Agent Vin Marko from the VCA: Virus Combat Agency. Vin tells Zack that he had come to recruit him to help them destroy the most potent computer virus ever. And thus begins an amazing cyber adventure that Zack could only have dreamt of . . .
