Saartjie is faced with two big challenges. She has to write exams and get even with a bully from Cape Town who calls her “doll” and manhandles everyone in Lynnekom. Our heroine struggles to concentrate on her studies while coming up with one plan after the other to teach the bully a lesson.

Meanwhile she also has to save her own name and reputation when a girl in her class accuses her of dishonesty. To her great surprise she gets help from an unexpected source – her grumpy science teacher!

When the tomboy finally sorts out the bully it’s time for the school holidays and the Three Mosquitoes are invited to a farm. A friend of Saartjie’s mother wants the girls to teach her two sons some decent manners but as always things work out completely differently. Saartjie and her two girlfriends give the farm boys a tough time and once again prove that they are a force to be reckoned with!
