An adventure story set in Namibia. Six friends are spending their holiday camping on the farm, Arep, in the Klein Karasberge. Their main aim is to help Uschi von Kritzner, a German girl, find the grave of her great-grandfather, who was killed during the German-Nama war in a skirmish where the Arep farm now lies. From the offset strange things happen, and Jurgen, son of the owner of the farm, has his hands full in keeping everybody happy. There is also Lukas, grandson of Frik Visioen, who had worked on the farm for many years, upsetting everybody with his strange behaviour. When the Arep eventually reveals its secret, it is more than the had bargained for.
